Happy New Year! On January 22, 2016, we will be recognizing the anniversary of Roe vs. Wade and Doe vs. Bolton, which invalidated the properly passed abortion laws in all 50 states

and made, in all practicality, abortion on demand the law of the land. Pro-life supporters will, once again, gather in Washington, D.C. for the March for Life. In January, the WV Legislative Session will begin, and we will be working to pass the Unborn Child Protection from Dismemberment Abortion Ban. This bill would outlaw a form of abortion that “dismember[s] a living unborn child and extract[s] him or her one piece at a time from the uterus.” This is the type of abortion done by the Planned Parenthood abortionists to obtain baby body parts for sale. We will also continue to work on legislation to opt-out of abortion in the health care exchange here in West Virginia.

Please plan to attend Pro-Life Rally Day at the State Capitol in Charleston on Tuesday, February 16, for the noon rally and silent cross walk through the halls of the capitol building. Please post this flyer to promote it. We are proud to have pro-life majorities in both Houses and in the legislative leadership. Come to show them your support for their pro-life work.
